Product information "Safety Chest Wader S5"
The FW74 safety chest wader from the Portwest™ Work collection is built for jobs where water and mechanical hazards go hand in hand, such as groundwork, sewer maintenance, flooded construction sites or agricultural work. The high chest-high cut with an adjustable waistband and strap keeps legs and torso dry while allowing the fit to be tailored to the wearer.
The PVC/nitril upper makes the boot fully waterproof while also standing up to fuel and oil, a real advantage on construction sites or in workshops where footwear regularly comes into contact with such substances. Stainless steel eyelets and the pull strap keep the boot functional even with frequent putting on and taking off, without fittings wearing out prematurely.
On the safety side, the boot meets the S5 protection class: a steel toe cap guards against impact and compression, while the penetration-resistant steel midsole stops sharp objects from coming through the sole. The energy-absorbing seat area cushions each step, and the antistatic construction dissipates electrical charge. The slip-resistant rubber outsole is additionally resistant to fuel and oil, and the red colour coding makes it easy to identify as safety footwear. CE certification confirms compliance with the relevant safety requirements.
