The Blaklader STORM S7S winter safety boot is built for anyone working outdoors through the cold season and needing dependable protection without sacrificing warmth. The extra wide lasts give a comfortable fit, and the Freelock system makes putting the boots on and taking them off quick and easy, which matters when you're in and out of them all day. A dedicated women's last is available in sizes 35 to 39, while the full size range runs from 35 to 48.
The upper is made from oil-treated leather, tough enough for demanding sites yet supple enough to stay comfortable through a long shift. Inside, a wool/polyester lining combined with Thinsulate insulation keeps feet warm without adding bulk. The boot shaft is padded with PU foam in two different densities, giving solid ankle support and reducing pressure points. A soft PU insole with a warm anatomical lining adds further comfort, while the grippy nitrile rubber outsole is designed to hold its footing on snow and ice.
Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 in safety class S7S, the boot combines a composite toe cap for protection against impact and compression with a textile midsole that resists penetration from nails up to 3 mm. The membrane keeps feet dry all day, and the outsole is heat resistant, oil resistant and slip resistant, with added stability on ladders and uneven ground – the additional markings HRO, CI, LG, SC, SR and FO refer to exactly these properties.
That makes the STORM a strong choice for outdoor work in construction, transport, maintenance, repair and operations – suited to roofers, road and construction workers, electricians, installers, mechanics and concrete workers who need footwear that holds up in cold, wet conditions.
