These thick wool socks are designed for anyone who spends long hours working outdoors in cold conditions, whether on a construction site, in forestry work, or on other outdoor jobs. As Blåkläder's warmest insulating sock, it is built to cope with even extreme cold, making it a practical choice when standard socks simply don't hold up.
The terry knit runs through the entire sock, creating a thick, cushioning layer, while reinforced sections at the heel, sole and toe target the areas that take the most wear from walking and standing. Elastic knit fabric on the sole flexes with the foot for a comfortable fit inside the boot. With a wool content of 78 percent, the sock benefits from wool's natural ability to regulate temperature and keep feet warm whether wet or dry, along with good moisture transport away from the skin. The added elastane and polyamide give the sock extra stretch and help it hold its shape.
Beyond keeping feet warm, the wool also has a natural odour-resistant property, which makes a real difference on long working days or repeated wear. Available in black melange across sizes 34 to 48, sold by the pair, this unisex sock is built for everyday use in cold, demanding conditions.
