The Blaklader STORM winter boot is a waterproof safety boot for anyone who works outdoors through cold, wet and snowy conditions. Tradespeople such as builders, roofers, drivers and electricians will appreciate the inside zip, which lets you get the boot on and off quickly without ever having to undo the laces. The wide fit adds extra comfort for long shifts on site.
The durable textile upper with a TPU-reinforced toe area is built to handle the daily wear of construction and outdoor work, while reflective threads add visibility in low light. Inside, Thinsulate insulation keeps feet warm even in colder temperatures, and a membrane keeps the boot dry all day long. The anatomically shaped insole in soft PU with a moisture-absorbing textile surface adds all-day comfort, and the grippy nitrile rubber outsole is designed specifically to hold its footing on snow and ice.
The boot is certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 as S7S, meeting the requirements for safety footwear with a composite toe cap and a penetration-resistant midsole that withstands 3 mm nails. The additional markings FO, SR, HRO, CI, SC and LG confirm features including fuel resistance, slip resistance, heat-resistant outsole, cold insulation and stability on ladders.
This makes the STORM well suited to construction, transport, maintenance, repair and operations work, as well as for road and construction workers, mechanics, installers, sheet metal workers, cleaners and service staff who need reliable protection from cold and moisture outdoors. A women's last is also available in sizes 35 to 39.
