The Blåkläder STORM safety shoe is built for anyone who spends most of the working day outdoors and needs dry feet and secure footing, whether on construction sites, in road and civil engineering, maintenance work or driving jobs. Thanks to the wide fit and women's lasts available in sizes 35 to 39, the shoe works well for both men and women, with 14 sizes in total ranging from 35 to 48.
The oil-treated leather upper feels tough and grippy while staying resistant to moisture and dirt throughout the working day. A waterproof membrane in the lining keeps feet dry all day, and the Freelock system makes putting the shoe on and taking it off noticeably easier. The anatomically shaped insole in soft PU with a moisture-absorbing textile cover keeps things comfortable even during long hours on your feet, and the nitrile rubber outsole is heat-resistant and designed to grip well, even on snow and ice.
The shoe meets EN ISO 20345:2022 in class S7S FO SR HRO SC LG. In practical terms, that means a composite toe cap protects against impact and compression, a flexible textile midsole guards against penetration from nails up to 3 mm, the outsole is slip-resistant, heat-resistant up to 300 degrees and resistant to fuel, and the shoe is fully waterproof with antistatic properties built in.
