Product information "Round Sling WLL 8000 kg Blue 3 Metre"
This round sling with a working load limit (WLL) of 8,000 kg and a length of 3 metres is designed for lifting and rigging tasks where heavy loads need to be moved safely and reliably. The blue colour is not just for looks – it follows the standard colour coding used in lifting technology to indicate load capacity, so the right sling can be identified at a glance.
The sling is made from polyester with a single-layer cover, which keeps it lightweight while remaining highly flexible. In daily use, this means it wraps easily around loads of different shapes without being stiff or awkward to handle. The low weight also makes repeated attaching and detaching throughout the workday noticeably easier.
Manufactured to EN 1492-2, the standard for round slings made from man-made fibres, this sling has a safety factor of 7:1. In practical terms, it is designed to withstand seven times its rated working load before reaching its breaking point, giving a solid safety margin for everyday lifting operations. It is also TÜV/GS tested.
This makes the sling well suited to industry, logistics and construction, and to any application where cranes, hoists or other lifting gear are used to move heavy loads. Alongside the 3-metre version, the sling is also available in 4- and 6-metre lengths, allowing the right size to be chosen for the job at hand.
