Product information "Lifting Strap WLL 8000 kg Blue 4 Metre"
This lifting sling, rated for a working load limit (WLL) of 8000 kg, is built for lifting operations where heavy loads need to be moved safely and under control. Its blue colour follows the standard load-capacity colour code, so the sling's rating can be identified at a glance – a real advantage when several slings of different capacities are in use on site or in a warehouse. At 240 mm wide and 4 metres long, this sling is particularly well suited to lifting through narrow openings where wider or less flexible lifting gear would struggle to fit.
The sling is made from two-ply polyester webbing. This construction gives it high load-bearing capacity while keeping its own weight relatively low, which makes a noticeable difference in daily handling: the sling wraps easily around the load, is simple to position, and stows away without being bulky or cumbersome. Polyester also holds up well against the mechanical stresses that come with repeated lifting and slinging.
The sling is manufactured to EN 1492-1, the standard covering flat woven webbing slings made from man-made fibres. It defines how such slings must be constructed, labelled and tested to reliably support their stated working load limit. With a safety factor of 7:1, the sling carries a substantial margin above its rated WLL, adding an extra layer of security when slinging varied loads in practice. The TÜV/GS certification further confirms its safety assessment.
This makes the sling a solid choice for professional use in warehouses, production facilities, construction sites and anywhere heavy loads are moved by crane, hoist or forklift. It is also available in 6 and 8 metre lengths, allowing the right size to be chosen for different lifting situations.
