The Retro safety shoe from Blåkläder combines a classic look with everything you need from a modern safety shoe. It's cut as a unisex model and available in sizes 35 to 48, with sizes 35 to 39 built on a dedicated women's last for a genuinely better fit. It suits anyone who needs dependable foot protection at work without giving up comfort.
The textile upper keeps the shoe light and pleasant to wear, while the polyester lining helps maintain a dry, comfortable feel inside. The anatomically shaped PU insole, finished with a moisture-absorbing surface, supports the foot throughout the day while staying breathable. Reinforcements at the heel and shaft edge add stability exactly where the shoe takes the most strain. Together, the PU midsole and rubber outsole strike a good balance between cushioning and wear resistance.
Protection comes from an aluminium toe cap reinforced with KPU and a steel midsole that guards against penetration from below. Certification to EN ISO 20345:2011 S1 P SRC ESD confirms features including an oil-resistant outsole, reliable slip resistance (SRC), and antistatic, ESD-tested properties that safely dissipate static electricity. The shoe also meets DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259.
