The BLS® P2 NR pre-filter is designed as an add-on for half masks with a bayonet connection, giving extra protection against fine dust and airborne particles. It's a practical choice wherever respiratory protection needs regular replacing, such as in workshops, on construction sites, or in spray painting work alongside a gas filter.
The filter attaches to the mask via the bayonet fitting, so no tools are needed and swapping it out takes seconds. It's a single-use item rather than a reusable one, which keeps things simple on site: once it's spent, you remove it and fit a new one.
Certified to EN 14387, the pre-filter protects against low-toxicity airborne particles at class P2 level. In practical terms, it filters out a defined share of solid and liquid particles from the air you breathe, making it suitable for jobs with elevated dust or particle exposure, though it does not protect against gases or vapours.
