The Portwest Compositelite Trekker S1 is a safety shoe for anyone who refuses to trade comfort for protection on the job. Styled like a classic hiking boot, it is built entirely without metal components, making it a practical choice for environments where metal parts are unwanted, such as near sensitive equipment or through security checks. Its light weight and flexible construction are designed for continuous daily wear rather than short, occasional use.
The upper combines suede and textile with a breathable 3D mesh lining, keeping feet comfortable even during long shifts. A padded collar and a rear pull tab make the boot easy to put on and take off while adding extra comfort around the ankle. The shoe is made from cow suede leather, giving it a sturdy, quality finish built to last.
A composite toe cap protects the toes without using any metal, keeping the shoe fully non-magnetic and free of nickel and iron. Antistatic properties help dissipate electrical charge, while the energy-absorbing seat area in the heel cushions impact with every step. The SRC-rated sole delivers slip resistance on ceramic and steel surfaces and also resists fuel and oil, and the dual-density sole construction balances cushioning with stability. The shoe is CE certified and UKCA marked.
