The Kirkenes pilot jacket is a versatile workwear piece for anyone spending their working day outdoors in changeable weather and low-visibility conditions. Its 4-in-1 design lets you remove the collar and sleeves as well as the pile lining, turning a padded winter jacket into a lighter softshell style or even a bodywarmer depending on what the job and the weather call for.
The outer fabric, a cotton-polyester blend at around 250 g/m², is sturdy enough for daily use on site, and the water-repellent coating adds an extra layer of protection against rain and damp. The polyester lining and fleece pile keep you warm in cooler conditions without feeling bulky, while knitted cuffs at the sleeves and hem help keep draughts out. The two-way front zip lets you open the jacket from top or bottom as needed, and seven pockets, including chest, hip, sleeve and inside pockets plus a dedicated phone pocket, give you plenty of room for tools, paperwork and personal items.
Reflective stripes running around the body, shoulders and sleeves meet EN 17353 Type B3, helping the wearer stand out clearly in the dark or in poor visibility.
