The FR756 belongs to the PW3 collection and is designed for anyone working in environments with heat, flame or electrostatic hazards. As a flame-resistant multi-norm sweatshirt, it combines protective performance with a level of comfort not usually expected from workwear in this category: ribbed knit cuffs, a knitted hem and a fully elasticated waistband keep the fit close without restricting movement.
The high cotton content in the fabric makes itself felt in everyday wear through a pleasant feel against the skin, even across long shifts. The inherent flame resistance is built into the fibre itself and, according to the manufacturer, is not affected by washing, which matters for protective garments worn day after day. The fabric has also shown excellent results for colour fastness and shrinkage, so it keeps its shape and fit wash after wash.
Protection goes beyond flame resistance alone: the FR756 guards against radiant, convective and contact heat and carries CE certification. It is antistatic and non-magnetic, made without nickel or iron, which makes it suitable for use in ATEX environments as well. The reflective tape used is heat-resistant and flame-retardant, so visibility doesn't come at the cost of protection. The fabric is also UPF 40+ rated, blocking 98% of UV rays.
Two zipped side pockets give secure storage for small items during the working day. The FR756 suits workers in oil and gas, electrical trades, heavy industry and other sectors where flame and heat hazards go hand in hand with ATEX compliance and the need for electrostatic protection.
