The Sundsvall PU stretch bib trousers are built for anyone working outdoors in wind and rain who still needs freedom of movement. They bring stretch fabric to classic rainwear, moving with you when you bend, climb or handle equipment instead of restricting you. Finished in olive and available from size S to 4XL, they suit a wide range of body types on site.
The outer material is PU coated onto a polyester backing, weighing around 190 g/m². This keeps the trousers sturdy without being unnecessarily heavy, so they stay comfortable to wear over longer shifts rather than feeling stiff. The seams are welded, sealing out moisture far more reliably than a standard stitched seam would. A number of practical details make daily use easier: a zip in the outer leg seam simplifies putting the trousers on and taking them off, for instance over safety boots, the leg-end closures adjust with hook-and-loop tabs, and the elasticated braces with front and rear buckles plus the press-stud waist adjustment let you fine-tune the fit.
The trousers meet EN 343 class 4/1/X, the standard for protective clothing against wind and rain, with a hydrostatic head of 8,000 mm indicating how much water pressure the fabric withstands before moisture gets through. They also comply with EN ISO 13688, the general base standard for protective clothing that covers basic ergonomic and material requirements.
That makes the Sundsvall a solid choice for outdoor work in all weather, from road construction and landscaping to general building sites and agricultural or forestry work, wherever wind and rain would otherwise slow the job down.
