The Vitan PU boot is a safety wellington built for jobs where wet conditions, cold and chemical exposure are part of daily work. Its white finish makes it a natural fit for food industry settings, where hygiene and easy visual inspection for dirt matter. With a shaft height of around 36.5 cm, it offers reliable protection even when standing water or splashes are unavoidable.
Both the shaft and sole are made entirely of polyurethane, which is roughly 25 percent lighter than traditional rubber or PVC and stays flexible even at low temperatures. This is thanks to the foamed PU construction, which keeps the boot insulated down to -30°C without becoming stiff or uncomfortable. The memory foam insole is antistatic, antibacterial and washable, so the boot remains pleasant to wear through long shifts and stays easy to keep clean.
Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 in the S4 SR CI FO specification, the Vitan features a corrosion-free steel toe cap protecting against impact and compression, a slip-resistant outsole (SR) for secure footing on smooth surfaces, cold insulation (CI) and resistance to fuel oil (FO). It also holds up well against chemicals, fertiliser, oils, greases, disinfectants, solvents and blood, making it suitable for demanding cleaning and production environments.
The boot suits workers in food processing, agriculture, slaughterhouses, cleaning services and other roles involving frequent contact with moisture, cold and aggressive substances. It ships in packs of 6 pairs, and sizes 36 to 49 cover virtually every requirement on site.
