The Lecce PU boot is a safety wellington designed for anyone working in wet or cold environments who needs reliable protection without the bulk of heavy footwear. With a shaft height of around 38 cm, it offers secure coverage well above the ankle, making it well suited to jobs involving heavy moisture or dirt.
Both the shaft and sole are made entirely of polyurethane, processed as a double-density material. In practice this brings two real benefits: the boot stays noticeably light on the foot despite its sturdy build, and it keeps its flexibility even at low temperatures instead of stiffening up like standard rubber boots. The material is also resistant to animal fats, oils and acids, which makes cleaning easier after use and extends the boot's working life considerably.
On the safety side, the Lecce is certified to EN ISO 20345 S4 CI SRC. The steel toe cap protects against impact and compression, the CI marking indicates the sole's insulation against cold from below, and SRC confirms slip resistance on both ceramic floors with glycerine and steel floors with sodium lauryl sulphate. The antistatic outsole adds further protection by reducing the build-up of electrostatic charge.
This makes the Lecce a strong fit for food processing, agriculture, cleaning work, or any setting with wet, cold and slippery floors where dependable toe protection is essential.
