The PREVENT® 174GA pilot jacket is a high-visibility yellow winter jacket built for anyone working outdoors in wet, cold conditions who also needs to stay visible. The detachable sleeves let it double as a vest, making it a flexible choice for changeable weather and varying tasks. The hood is neatly stored in the collar and ready to pull up the moment it starts to rain.
The 100% polyester outer shell with PU coating keeps moisture out reliably, while the quilted lining provides warmth without restricting freedom of movement. Welded rather than stitched seams stop water from getting in at the seams, giving the jacket lasting water resistance even under heavy use. The fleece collar adds comfort around the neck, and the snap-button cuffs allow the sleeve width to be adjusted to fit. Two hand pockets, two chest pockets and an inside pocket provide plenty of room for tools, a phone and personal items.
The jacket meets EN 343, meaning it has been tested against rain penetration and water vapour resistance, which matters for anyone working outdoors in wet weather. As category II PPE, it covers moderate risks and suits jobs where both protection from moisture and high visibility are required, such as road work, logistics or municipal services. It comes in sizes S to 5XL, covering a wide range of body types.
