The PLANAM Basalt trousers are built for anyone who wants generous storage, a well-thought-out layout and a modern look in one pair of work trousers. The contrasting fabric combination and ripstop finish give them a distinctive appearance that sets them apart from plain, standard-issue workwear. With 24 sizes ranging from 24 to 110, there is a fit for almost everyone, available in anthracite/red, cornflower blue/red, navy/red or olive/red.
The trousers are made from a blend of 65 % polyester and 35 % cotton, with the main colour woven in a ripstop look at around 260 g/m² and the contrasting panels slightly heavier at about 285 g/m². This combination results in a hard-wearing fabric that copes well with daily use on site or in the workshop, while still feeling comfortable rather than stiff or heavy. The elasticated waistband together with seven belt loops and a jeans button keep the fit flexible and comfortable throughout a full shift.
Visibility is supported by reflective piping in silver reflective material, adding an extra safety margin in low-light conditions, useful on construction sites or near traffic. For everyday practicality, the trousers offer an extensive pocket layout: two side patch pockets with zip closure, two knee pockets that open from above, a double ruler pocket, a thigh pocket with flap and Velcro closure, and a mobile phone pocket provide plenty of room for tools and personal items. A hammer loop and a zip fly complete the functional design.
