This flame-resistant belt from Blaklader is built for anyone who needs their gear to hold up to heat and flames right down to the buckle. Made as a unisex, one-size item measuring 130 cm in length, it rounds off flame-resistant workwear with a detail that's easy to overlook but just as much a part of personal protective equipment as the rest of the outfit.
The webbing is made from a blend of 63% modacrylic and 37% elastane and features 2-way stretch. In practical terms, that means the belt moves with the body, stays comfortable through bending and reaching, and never feels restrictive. The buckle itself is made from flame-retardant plastic and carries the Blåkläder logo, while the belt as a whole remains completely metal-free – a real advantage wherever metal components on tool belts or in certain work environments are best avoided.
The belt is tested to EN ISO 11612, the standard covering protective clothing against heat and flames. The buckle has also been tested and approved to this same standard, so the belt can be worn as a fully flame-resistant accessory without any weak point in its construction.
