The NTS 1" hose on a 50-metre roll is a robust PVC hose designed for professional use wherever water needs to be moved reliably over longer distances. With a 1-inch inner diameter and a working pressure of 8 bar, it is built for jobs that go beyond what a standard garden hose can handle, such as on construction sites, in trade work or in agriculture.
The hose is made up of five layers: both the outer cover and the inner core are PVC, with a polyester yarn reinforcement in between providing the strength needed to withstand pressure. A special knitted weave keeps the hose from twisting or kinking as it is unrolled, which makes it noticeably easier to handle on site. Despite its sturdy construction, it stays flexible and lightweight, so it can be laid out and rewound even in tight spaces without much effort.
On the inside, a black anti-algae coating stops algae from forming, helping to maintain water quality and flow performance over the hose's working life.
