The Thorwald multinorm coverall is built for anyone who faces more than one workplace hazard at once, from sparks and heat to static charge and chemical splashes. As a one-piece garment it covers the whole body and offers plenty of storage with a sleeve pocket, two chest pockets with flaps, two side pockets, two back pockets with flaps and a leg pocket. The multinorm emblems on the left sleeve make it easy to see at a glance which protective standards the coverall meets.
The outer fabric is 99% cotton and 1% carbon at a weight of 270 g/m², giving a fabric that is sturdy yet comfortable to wear over a full shift without chafing or feeling stiff. The elasticated back waist and the action pleats at the back keep movement free when bending, reaching or crouching. The concealed YKK two-way front zip with storm flap and hook-and-loop closures is easy to operate even with gloves on, while also keeping out stray sparks or liquids.
Protection-wise, this coverall covers a lot of ground. EN ISO 11611 makes it suitable for welding work, guarding against sparks and brief flame contact, while EN ISO 11612 adds protection against convective and radiant heat as well as molten metal splashes. Antistatic properties to EN 1149-5 help prevent dangerous static build-up, and EN 61482-2 (APC 1) protects against the thermal effects of an electric arc fault. EN 13034 Type PB (6) confirms limited protection against liquid chemicals, EN 17353 Type B3 is aimed at fire and rescue services, and EN 13758-2 confirms UV protection built into the fabric.
This makes the coverall a solid choice for welders, electricians, workers in the chemical and petrochemical industry, and anyone in an industrial setting exposed to several hazards at the same time. Available in sizes 44 to 64, in navy blue.
