The Mauno multinorm coverall is a one-piece garment for anyone facing several workplace hazards at once, from open flame and electric arc exposure to electrostatic build-up. Rather than layering separate protective pieces, this coverall combines multiple protection classes in a single garment while still offering seven pockets for everyday practicality, including two chest pockets, two side pockets, two rear pockets, a leg pocket and a sleeve pocket.
The outer fabric is 99% cotton with a 1% carbon content at a weight of 220 g/m², giving a fabric that is sturdy yet comfortable enough for extended wear. An elasticated back waist and built-in ease pleats at the back allow freedom of movement for tasks that require reaching, bending or crouching. The concealed YKK two-way front zip with storm flap and hook-and-loop fastening keeps the closure shielded from sparks and stays easy to operate even with gloves on.
Protection is backed by a broad set of standards: EN ISO 11611 covers welding work, protecting against brief flame contact and metal spatter typical of welding and related processes. EN ISO 11612 adds protection against heat and flame in several forms, including convective and radiant heat as well as contact with molten metal. EN 1149-5 confirms an antistatic finish that reduces the risk of electrostatic discharge, EN 17353 Type B3 points to protective functions for emergency responders, and EN 13758-2 confirms UV protection built into the fabric. EN ISO 13688 is the general baseline standard for protective clothing, ensuring basic requirements for ergonomics and labelling are met. Multinorm emblems on the left sleeve make these protection levels visible at a glance.
This makes the coverall well suited to welders, electricians and industrial professionals who face changing thermal and electrostatic risks during their work. It is available in sizes 44 to 64.
