The LeiKaChem® chemical protection glove from Asatex is designed for anyone who regularly works with chemicals and needs dependable protection without sacrificing dexterity. Classified as Type A, it is built for tasks demanding a high level of chemical resistance.
At its core is a polyamide liner (18 gg) coated with nitrile (NBR), a combination that delivers a snug fit while keeping the glove flexible rather than stiff or bulky. An additional grip layer improves hold when handling tools or containers, even when hands are wet or oily. With a total thickness of 1.5 mm (liner plus double coating) and a length of 35 cm, the glove also protects well beyond the wrist. Its high abrasion rating (Level 4) points to a long service life, even with frequent contact with rough surfaces.
The glove carries an original Dermatest® certification, confirming that it has been dermatologically tested for skin compatibility – a relevant factor for gloves worn over extended periods. Combined with its nitrile coating and sturdy construction, the LeiKaChem® is well suited to work environments where hands face both chemical exposure and mechanical strain at the same time.
