The Wedel Nuovo lace-up boot is a rugged S3 safety boot designed for anyone who needs dependable foot protection on the job. The upper is made from lightly embossed, hydrophobic leather, complemented by an ergonomically padded collar and a padded dust flap that combine a secure fit with real comfort. The quick-lace eyelet closure allows for fast on and off, while reflective strips on the side and heel add extra visibility.
The hydrophobic leather resists moisture while still feeling comfortable to wear through long shifts. Inside, a removable, antistatic footbed can be swapped out as needed, keeping the boot comfortable over time. The two-layer PU outsole is slip-resistant as well as oil- and acid-resistant, and its integrated toe overcap adds further stability where the boot takes the most wear.
The EN ISO 20345:2022 S3S FO SR standard reflects a high level of protection: the plastic toe cap shields the toes, the penetration-resistant textile midsole stops sharp objects from below, and the antistatic build safely dissipates electrical charge. The additional FO and SR markings confirm the sole's resistance to oil and fuel and its slip-resistant grip, while certification under DGUV Rule 112-191 rounds out the safety profile.
