The MOTION TEX LIGHT softshell vest from Nitras is built for anyone working outdoors who needs a flexible mid-layer that keeps out wind and rain without restricting movement. Its sporty regular fit makes it just as suitable for construction sites as for warehouse or fleet work, wherever changeable weather is part of the job.
The soft softshell fabric at 310 g/sqm feels comfortable against the skin, and the stretch panel keeps it flexible even when you are on the move. The outer fabric withstands heavy rain with a water column rating of 8,000 mmH2O while remaining breathable, so moisture can escape instead of building up inside. The extended back and the drawcord hem keep the vest sitting well during activity, and the double-layer windstopper behind the full YKK zip adds extra protection against draughts. Certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100®, the fabric has also been tested for harmful substances.
Practical touches for daily wear include the inner, chest and side pockets, ideal for keeping tools, a phone or paperwork close at hand. The stand-up collar with chin guard adds comfort in windy conditions, and the reflective elements improve visibility in low light or poor weather. For added protection, a matching hood is available separately.
