The Nitras MOTION TEX VIZ is a hi-vis softshell jacket built for anyone who needs to stay visible on site, whether on the road, on a construction project, or anywhere traffic and machinery are close by, without sacrificing everyday comfort. Its sporty regular-fit cut and bold neon-orange-and-black colourway set it apart from typical hi-vis gear, looking more like a modern softshell jacket that happens to keep you seen. An optional detachable hood variant is also available, so the jacket can be adapted to the job and to personal preference.
The softshell fabric, at 310 g/sqm, sits comfortably against the body and holds up well over long shifts, feeling neither stiff nor heavy. The extended back panel means no pulling or riding up when bending or reaching overhead, while the hook-and-loop and elastic cuffs, together with the drawcord hem, keep the jacket close to the body and draughts out. A double-layer windstopper lining adds further protection from wind, and the full-length YKK zip with a chin guard stops the metal teeth from catching or rubbing when zipped all the way up. Inner, chest, and side pockets give plenty of room for tools, a phone, or personal items without spoiling the jacket's fit.
The outer fabric resists heavy rain thanks to a water column of 8,000 mmH2O, while a breathability rating of 2,000 g/sqm/24h keeps you comfortable even during physical exertion. Built-in 3M Scotchlite™ reflective material makes the wearer noticeably easier to spot in low light or poor visibility, which matters on roads and building sites with vehicle traffic. Classified under PPE risk category II, the jacket is designed as personal protective equipment against medium-level risks, and the fabric itself is OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100® tested for harmful substances.
