This high vis winter bib overall from Blaklader is designed for anyone who needs to stay visible and protected outdoors through winter conditions – tradespeople, road workers and construction crews who rely on solid protection against cold and wet weather. Warmly lined and fitted with a well thought-out set of pockets, it is built for demanding daily use, not just for standing out.
The outer fabric is 100% polyester in an oxford weave, coated and waterproof up to 15,000 mm, while still being windproof and breathable with a Ret value of 8.5. In practice this means rain and wind stay out while moisture from the inside can escape, so you don't end up overheating during hard work. The quilted lining adds warmth, and the taped seams keep water out even in sustained rain. The knees are reinforced with durable CORDURA® and feature knee pad pockets, making kneeling far more comfortable and extending the garment's life at the point that wears fastest.
Certification to EN ISO 20471 class 2 confirms high visibility through warning colour and reflective striping, essential for anyone working near traffic or site vehicles. The overalls also meet EN 343 for protection against rain and EN 342, when worn together with a matching jacket, for protection against cold – both genuinely useful for winter work. The 50 mm wide reflective stripes on the legs and shoulders add visibility from multiple angles.
With a rear pocket, ruler pocket, bellowed leg pockets, loose chest pockets with a safety strap, and tool pockets that slot into the front pockets, the overalls are built around the tool needs of construction and road work. The elastic waist, wide belt loops and adjustable leg opening with zip and drawcord keep it practical even when layered over other winter clothing.
