The Leroy hi-vis sweatshirt is built for anyone who needs to stay visible on the job without giving up comfort. Its fluorescent yellow colour keeps wearers visible in traffic and on construction sites, while the sewn-in reflective stripes add extra definition after dark. Available from size XS to 5XL, it fits a wide range of body types for both professional and private use.
The outer fabric, a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton at around 280 g/m², strikes a good balance between durability and a lightweight feel. The soft cotton lining sits comfortably against the skin, which makes a real difference over a long shift outdoors. Elastic knit cuffs at the sleeves and hem keep the sweatshirt in place during movement and help block out draughts. Rated for 25 washes at 40°C, it's designed to hold up to regular use and routine care in daily work.
When it comes to protection, the sweatshirt meets EN ISO 20471 Class 3, the highest visibility class for hi-vis clothing, achieved in sizes L and above, while sizes XS to M meet Class 2, offering a slightly smaller area of visible material. It also meets EN 13758-2, which covers UV protection in textiles, and EN ISO 13688, the general standard for protective clothing. In practice, this means dependable visibility in daylight, twilight and darkness, combined with a baseline of protection that covers the essential requirements for workwear.
The sweatshirt suits any setting where being seen matters, including road construction, waste collection, warehouse and logistics work, and rail maintenance. In Germany, its purchase can be subsidised through the BG Bau. The printable area also allows for logo personalisation, and the item is supplied in packs of 10.
