This high-vis softshell jacket from Blaklader is built for anyone who needs to stay visible and protected from the weather on building sites, road works, or while working on roofs or behind the wheel. The quilted jacket combines high-visibility safety with genuine wearing comfort, making it a solid choice for tradespeople, gardeners, drivers and roofers who spend long days out in changing conditions.
The three-layer softshell fabric, made from polyester with an elastane content, keeps the jacket windproof and waterproof while staying highly breathable, so moisture can escape from the inside without rain getting in from the outside. The stretch panelling and pre-shaped sleeves give freedom of movement on the job, and the reinforced shoulders and sleeves help the jacket hold up under tougher daily use. Snug, adjustable sleeve cuffs with hook-and-loop fastening and an adjustable drawcord hem keep draughts out and the jacket in place no matter how much you move.
The jacket is certified to EN ISO 20471, the standard for high-visibility clothing that ensures good visibility in daylight and under headlights. Sizes XS to L meet Class 1, while sizes XL and up reach Class 2 thanks to the larger surface area of fabric. The 50 mm wide reflective stripes across the body and sleeves add further visibility from a distance and from different angles.
