This Blaklader softshell work trouser is designed for autumn and winter, aimed at anyone who has to keep working outdoors through wind and rain. Tradespeople as well as road and construction workers get a trouser that combines high-visibility protection with genuine weather protection while staying flexible thanks to its 3-layer construction.
The fabric is a stretchy softshell with two-way stretch that feels noticeably softer and more supple than typical workwear material. With a waterproof rating of 11,000 mm and strong breathability, the trousers keep out rain and wind without trapping heat during physical work. High-wear areas such as the knee pad pockets, tool pockets, back pockets, ruler pocket and leg hems are reinforced with CORDURA®, giving the trousers extra durability exactly where they take the most punishment on the job.
The EN ISO 20471 Class 1 rating, combined with reflective strips running around the legs, helps you stay visible in traffic and on site, especially in low light. As this is a bottom-only garment, it needs to be paired with a matching high-vis top to reach a complete certified outfit.
The trousers also come with practical features including a bellows leg pocket, removable extra-wide tool pockets, and holders for a hammer, knife and pens, keeping tools within easy reach throughout the day. Also available as the women's model 7114, this trouser is well suited to outdoor work in rough weather, such as road building, civil engineering and exposed construction sites.
