These high vis shorts from Blaklader are designed for anyone who needs to stay visible and mobile even in warm weather. Aimed at tradespeople, drivers, road and construction workers, and warehouse staff, they combine hi-vis protection with a pocket layout that genuinely earns its place on the jobsite.
The outer fabric is a 65% polyester, 35% cotton twill, water-repellent and light at 240 g/m², so it stays comfortable through long shifts without feeling flimsy. Four-way stretch panels on the front and back yoke, plus stretch inserts in the crotch and over the seat, give real freedom of movement when crouching, climbing or reaching. The extra-wide holster pockets, the seat pockets and the ruler pocket are all CORDURA®-reinforced, standing up to daily contact with tools and rough materials, while reinforced crotch seams and a plastic zip fly add to the durability.
The shorts are certified to EN ISO 20471 class 1, meaning they carry a base level of high-visibility material that improves how well the wearer is seen in traffic and on site. Segmented 50 mm reflective transfer stripes run around the legs without restricting movement. Practical extras round out the design, including loops with a D-ring, a phone pocket, an ID pocket, and detachable, interchangeable tool pockets fitted with a tool hook and zipped compartments.
