These high vis shorts from Blaklader are designed for anyone who needs to stay visible and well equipped even in warm weather, including tradesmen, drivers, and road or construction workers. The fit allows for full freedom of movement, complemented by reinforced nail pockets and extra roomy bellowed back pockets that hold their shape even when loaded with tools.
The outer fabric is a lightweight twill weave made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton at 240g/m², finished with a water-repellent treatment that keeps the shorts comfortable to wear through light rain or sweaty work. The back pockets carry additional CORDURA® reinforcement, a fabric that resists wear from tools and constant sitting far longer than standard material. A rule pocket with a knife holder and pen pocket, a phone pocket, and tool pockets with screwdriver compartments keep essential tools within easy reach without overloading the shorts.
The shorts are certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 2, meaning they provide a medium level of visibility for work in traffic or on construction sites with moderate risk exposure. Reflective tape in 50mm and 60mm widths, along with reflective material around the legs, helps make movement clearly visible even in poor light. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification further confirms that the fabric has been tested for harmful substances.
