These Blaklader High Vis shorts are built for tradesmen and road or construction workers who need to stay visible on site without sacrificing freedom of movement in warm weather. The slim, close fit still moves with you thanks to the 4-way stretch fabric, and the detachable tool pockets can be fitted or removed depending on the job at hand. A women's version, model 7020, is also available.
The outer fabric is a double-woven 4-way stretch polyester at 260 g/m², which feels soft against the skin and flexes in every direction instead of pulling tight with each movement. The rear pockets, tool pockets and rule pocket are reinforced with CORDURA®, so the areas that take the most abuse from tools and materials hold up to daily wear. Ventilation built into the yoke helps on hot days, and small details like the plastic zip fly, metal buttons and wide belt loops show the attention to everyday practicality.
The shorts are certified to EN ISO 20471 class 1, placing them in certification group V as a bottom garment. In practice, this means they contribute to the required high-visibility area when paired with a suitable top, and the segmented reflective strips around the legs keep you visible even while moving. That makes them a solid choice for anyone working roadside or on sites where high-visibility clothing is required.
