This high vis pirate-style trouser from Blaklader is designed for tradesmen, road workers and construction crews who need both freedom of movement and reliable visibility on site. As a shorts-length style with removable nail pockets and a raised back waistband, it suits jobs that demand constant movement and quick access to tools, without the trousers riding down or restricting motion.
The fabric is a double-woven 4-way stretch polyester at 260 g/m², which flexes in every direction and stays comfortable through kneeling, bending and reaching. Dark-toned panels are placed at areas prone to getting dirty so the trousers keep looking presentable for longer, while ventilation at the knees and yoke keeps air moving on hot days or during heavy physical work. The knee pad pocket at the base is reinforced with CORDURA® stretch fabric, as are the tool pockets, back pockets and ruler pocket, giving these high-wear areas noticeably better resistance to abrasion.
The trousers meet EN ISO 20471 class 1, meaning the certified hi-vis area helps you stay visible in daylight and headlight conditions, backed up by segmented reflective strips running around the legs that stay visible even when you're moving. Combined with specific knee pads, they also meet EN 14404-3, which relates to protection for the knees during kneeling work. Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification and the MADE IN GREEN label confirm that the materials used have been tested for harmful substances.
With wide, removable tool pockets, tool loops, a knife holder and a range of practical compartments, these trousers are built for road construction, general building work and trades where high-visibility protection is part of the job.
