The RL20013 Carbon is a safety shoe designed for anyone who needs solid protection without sacrificing comfort during a long working day. The upper is made of soft, water-repellent leather, with an ergonomically shaped, padded collar and a padded tongue that help the shoe sit securely and comfortably on the foot, closed with eyelets and flat laces.
Inside, the Wing Tex lining with its ventilation channels keeps air moving around the foot, which makes a noticeable difference on long shifts. The U-Power Original footbed, made from BASF Elastopan, cushions every step and is also certified for orthopaedic measures under DGUV rule 112-191, making it easier to fit custom insoles when needed. The PU outsole is abrasion-resistant, oil-resistant and slip-resistant, giving reliable grip on smooth or contaminated floors.
Certified to EN ISO 20345 in safety class S3, the shoe includes a toe cap that guards against impact and compression, here built as a perforated Airtoe aluminium cap with a breathable membrane to keep weight down without giving up protection. The Save & Flex Plus textile midsole makes the shoe resistant to penetration by sharp objects underfoot, while the additional markings CI, SRC and ESD stand for cold insulation, slip resistance on ceramic tile with glycerine and on steel with sodium lauryl sulphate solution, and antistatic properties. The midsole combining soft PU with Infinergy adds further cushioning and rebound to the overall feel.
This makes the RL20013 Carbon a strong fit for trades where safety and comfort both matter over long hours on your feet, such as industrial work, logistics and skilled trades, where protection against falling or sharp objects is part of daily routine.
