The NITRAS MERKUR is a classic work glove made from full-grain cowhide, designed for anyone who needs a secure grip combined with rugged hand protection during manual or industrial work. The back of the glove is made from natural-coloured cotton, while the grey leather palm takes the brunt of daily wear – a combination that keeps the glove lightweight yet hard-wearing.
The glove is crafted from grade B full-grain cowhide, known for its supple feel and high durability. In practice, this means a soft fit that quickly moulds to the hand without compromising on toughness. Double stitching at key stress points adds extra stability, the inner palm lining improves comfort during extended wear, and the rubberised cuff keeps dust, chips and small particles from entering the glove from above.
Classified as PSA category II, the MERKUR is built for tasks involving a moderate risk level, protecting hands against mechanical hazards such as friction, pressure and contact with rough materials.
