The GoodJob® Akron is a seamless fine-knit glove for anyone doing manual or industrial work who needs reliable cut protection without losing dexterity. Its 13-gauge knit gives a thin, close-fitting shape suited to assembly, inspection or cutting tasks where a bulky glove would only get in the way.
The liner combines polyethylene, polyamide, glass fibre and elastane, which is what gives the glove its cut resistance while keeping it flexible and comfortable to wear. The polyurethane coating on the palm provides a secure grip even when handling small parts or tools that are slightly oily or smooth, while still allowing good tactile feedback. Combined with its strong abrasion resistance, the Akron is built to hold up under everyday use.
Tested to EN 388 and additionally to EN ISO 13997 with cut level D, the glove reaches one of the higher cut-resistance ratings under this test method, which measures the material's actual resistance to a blade under defined force. That makes the Akron a solid choice for tasks where sharp-edged components, sheet metal or glass pose a real risk of hand injury.
The Akron is well suited to metalworking, glass handling, assembly and logistics, as well as any setting where staff work with sharp-edged materials but still need precise handling. Supplied as bulk goods with a minimum order of 12 pieces, it also works well for regular operational stock.
