The Peltor forestry helmet combination is a complete head protection system for anyone working in forestry or operating chainsaws and brush cutters, where head, eyes, face and hearing all need protecting at once. It combines the G3000 safety helmet, the V5B mesh visor and the H31P3 ear defenders in one matched, ready-to-use set. FPA approval confirms that the combination meets the practical demands of forestry work.
The helmet shell is made of durable ABS yet weighs only around 312 grams, a difference you notice during long shifts on site. The 4-point textile suspension spreads the weight evenly across the head, the top-mounted ventilation slots keep air moving, and the rotary adjustment wheel can be operated even while wearing gloves. The built-in 3M UVICATOR sensor indicates when the shell material has degraded from UV exposure, a useful cue for knowing when it is time to replace the helmet. The polyamide visor with its mesh screen flips up and down and cuts light by 45 percent without noticeably affecting visibility. The ear defenders fit standard 30 mm helmet slots, adjust smoothly for height, and stay comfortable over long periods thanks to their wide, soft sealing rings.
The helmet is certified to EN 397, the core standard for industrial safety helmets covering impact absorption, among other things. The visor meets EN 1731 F, protecting eyes and face from both frontal and side impacts of low energy, the kind caused by branches or flying debris. The ear defenders are certified to EN 352-3, designed specifically for use with safety helmets, and provide reliable noise attenuation with an SNR rating of 28 dB, useful against chainsaw noise and similar sources.
This makes the combination well suited to forestry workers, loggers and anyone regularly operating motorised tools in woodland or landscaping work. The head size range of 54 to 62 cm covers most standard sizes, and the set is supplied in packs of 10.
