Product information "Flame-Resistant Protective Suit XT500"
The XT500 coverall from the Lakeland product line is a flame-resistant disposable suit built for work environments where sparks, open flames or radioactive contamination are a concern. Its attached hood, elasticated arms, legs and waist, and the covered zip closure all help the suit sit close to the body, leaving minimal opening for particles or contamination to get through.
The suit is made from a non-flammable viscose material with an antistatic finish, which in practical terms means it can be worn safely around combustible dust or vapours without adding ignition risk. Being a disposable garment, the XT500 needs no cleaning or maintenance between uses – it is simply discarded after the job, saving time on tasks that are short, dirty or contamination-sensitive.
Certified to EN 1073 and classified as PPE Category III, Type 5 and 6, the coverall offers protection against fine solid particles (Type 5) and limited protection against liquid splashes (Type 6) – suitable for jobs where full encapsulation isn't required but reliable contact protection still matters.
The XT500 is a good fit for industrial settings, cleaning and remediation work, or environments involving radioactive materials. Since it ships as bulk packaging with a minimum order of 25 units, it is particularly geared toward trade buyers stocking up for teams or recurring jobs.
