Product information "Flame-Resistant Protective Suit XT300"
The XT300 coverall from the Lakeland product line is a disposable suit designed for tasks where splashes and sprays of hazardous substances need to be reliably kept out. The attached hood with elastic gathering adjusts to fit snugly, while elasticated cuffs, ankles and waist keep the suit close to the body even during movement. A covered zip closure further seals off potential entry points for liquids.
The outer layer is made from a flame-resistant PVC barrier film, while the inner lining uses a soft viscose fleece substrate for improved comfort against the skin. This combination makes the XT300 resistant to chemicals and moisture without feeling like a stiff plastic shell. Its antistatic treatment also reduces static build-up in the material, which matters in environments with combustible dusts or vapours.
The suit is tested to EN 14605 and classified under PPE Category III as Type 3, Type 4 and Type 6. In practice, this means protection against pressurised liquid jets (Type 3), fine sprays (Type 4) and light splashes (Type 6), covering a wide range of liquid exposure scenarios from targeted jets to fine mist. This makes the XT300 suitable for chemical industry tasks, cleaning and disinfection work, spray painting, and any setting involving possible contact with liquid hazardous substances.
