Product information "Ear Plugs // MUTE PLUGS"
The NITRAS MUTE PLUGS are reusable earplugs designed for anyone working regularly in noisy environments who still wants reliable comfort. Their conical shape with three flanges ensures a secure fit in the ear canal, while the metal cord keeps the plugs from getting lost during work and makes them detectable, an important feature for food and manufacturing environments.
Made from soft, flexible plastic, the plugs adapt to the shape of the individual ear canal instead of causing pressure or discomfort. The smooth surface makes insertion easy, and the low-pressure feel holds up even during extended wear. Since the plugs are reusable, they can be worn across multiple shifts and stored hygienically in between in the included storage box, which clips directly onto clothing so it is always within reach.
With an SNR rating of 32 dB, the MUTE PLUGS deliver effective protection against ambient noise, broken down into H 33 dB, M 30 dB and L 28 dB for high, medium and low frequency ranges. In practice, this means reliable protection whether the noise is sharp and high-pitched or a deep, constant machine hum. Classification under PSA risk category III confirms that this is protective equipment intended for serious hazards, tested and certified accordingly.
This makes the NITRAS MUTE PLUGS a solid choice for industrial and trade settings with consistently high noise levels, such as production halls, machine shops or construction sites, and their hygienic pairwise packaging also suits regular, ongoing workplace use.
