Product information "Ear Plugs // MUTE PLUGS"
The Nitras MUTE PLUGS are disposable ear plugs designed for anyone who needs to wear hearing protection for extended periods without discomfort or pressure. Their conical shape and eye-catching orange colour make them easy to spot and simple to insert, suiting both daily industrial use and occasional applications.
Made from soft, adaptable PU foam, the plugs mould themselves to the shape of the ear canal for a comfortable fit without creating a strong pressure sensation. The slow recovery time is actually an advantage here, giving users enough time to insert the plug correctly before it expands to its final shape. This makes fitting straightforward even for less experienced wearers and helps reduce incorrect use.
With an SNR rating of 38 dB, these plugs provide noticeable protection against noise, supported by individual values of H 37 dB, M 36 dB and L 34 dB for high, medium and low frequencies. In practice, this means both piercing high-pitched sounds and duller, low-frequency noise are effectively reduced. Classified under PSA risk category III, they are intended for protection against serious hazards, so correct and consistent use is essential.
Individually hygienic-packed in poly bags and supplied with a practical dispenser, the MUTE PLUGS are well suited to businesses with high consumption needs: 250 pairs per box make storage, distribution and reordering simple, making them a cost-effective choice for workshops, production halls and any noisy working environment.
