The Blaklader ELITE S3L safety boot is built for tradesmen, welders and concrete workers who need reliable footwear for hot and demanding job sites. The wide fit and Freelock system make it easy to put on and take off without compromising stability or durability. The boot is also available in women's lasts for sizes 35 to 39.
The upper is made from full-grain leather, giving the boot lasting toughness while keeping the familiar feel and flexibility of leather footwear. A leather tongue covers and protects the Freelock system and closes with a velcro strap, keeping dirt and moisture out. The soft PU insole is anatomically shaped and finished with a textile top layer that absorbs moisture effectively, keeping feet comfortable even during long shifts. A polyester lining and a padded shaft edge add to the overall comfort.
The composite toe cap protects against impact and compression without adding unnecessary weight. The textile nail penetration protection, tested to the PL standard, guards the sole against sharp objects while staying more flexible than a steel insert. The nitrile rubber outsole withstands temperatures up to 300°C and includes a heat-shield layer built into the sole construction, making the boot suitable for work close to heat sources such as welding. Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 as S3L FO SR HRO HI SC LG, the boot offers oil and slip resistance, heat-resistant soling, antistatic properties and water-repellent construction. ESD approval to IEC 61340-5-1 also makes it a solid choice for environments where static discharge needs to be controlled.
This makes the ELITE S3L a strong fit for concrete work, welding and outdoor trade jobs where heat, moisture and heavy mechanical stress all come into play.
