DeepBlue COVID-19 Antigen Self-Test, Nasal Swab, 1 Test

The DeepBlue COVID-19 antigen self-test detects SARS-CoV-2 antigens in a swab taken from the anterior nasal area. It is intended as a self-test for lay users and requires no laboratory.

The sample is taken with the enclosed swab from the front of the nose only; the result appears on the test cassette after a few minutes. According to the manufacturer the pack contains everything needed for one test: test cassette, sterile nasal swab, extraction tube with buffer solution and the instructions for use.

In an occupational setting the test suits situations where individual people are tested as the need arises – for example when symptoms appear before a shift or before visiting a customer.

Performance and certification per the manufacturer documentation: sensitivity 96.4 %, specificity 99.8 %. Result after 15 minutes. Store at 2 to 30 °C, do not freeze; shelf life 24 months. CE 1434, notified body Polish Center for Testing and Certification, classified as a self-test. Users under the age of 15 should carry out the test under the supervision of an adult.
