The A780 arc-flash and cut-resistant glove is built for anyone working on or near electrical equipment where both arc-flash exposure and mechanical cut hazards are a concern. It suits electricians and service technicians who need dependable protection without sacrificing fine motor control.
The 13-gauge knit liner is made from a flame-resistant aramid yarn, knitted fine enough to allow real dexterity and hand movement, something that heavier protective gloves often lack. The palm is flame-resistant and coated with neoprene, giving a firm, secure grip when handling tools or components. An additional FR aramid thread reinforces the glove for extended durability on the job.
The glove carries an arc-flash rating of ATPV 9.5 cal/cm² (arc-flash level 2), protecting against the sudden heat and flying debris that an arc-flash event can produce. It also meets cut protection level D, equivalent to ANSI cut level A4, adding solid resistance against sharp edges and materials. CE certification and UKCA marking confirm compliance for use in both the EU and UK markets.
This makes the A780 well suited to work in switchgear and control panels, maintenance on live or de-energized electrical systems, and any task where heat and cut hazards can occur together.
