The FC24 is a safety shoe from the CompositeLite range, built for anyone who needs metal-free protective footwear on the job – for example near electrical installations or security checkpoints with metal detectors. Its fully metal-free construction, which is also nickel- and iron-free and non-magnetic, makes it suitable for environments where classic steel-toe boots simply aren't an option.
The suede leather and textile upper gives the shoe a rugged yet flexible feel that moulds to the foot the more it's worn. It's made from cowhide suede leather, which lends it a quality finish. The well-padded comfort footbed and the cushioned collar cut down on foot fatigue over the course of a working day, while the rear pull tab makes it easy to put on.
As an S1 shoe with the additional SR and FO ratings, the FC24 delivers solid all-round protection: the abrasion-resistant, metal-free composite toe cap with impact-resistant TPU caps shields the foot from heavy knocks without adding unnecessary weight. The slip-resistant outsole (SR) lowers the risk of slipping on smooth surfaces, and the fuel- and oil-resistant outsole (FO) stands up to contact with these substances on site. Antistatic properties, an energy-absorbing seat region and a dual-density sole complete the protection for continuous wear in demanding work settings.
The FC24 suits industries where metal-free safety footwear is required, such as security services, logistics or technical plant engineering, and comes in Black, Metal Grey and Wheat, in sizes 36 to 48.
