The FD25 mid-cut safety boot from the CompositeLite range is designed for trades where feet take a real beating, from groundworks and road construction to outdoor logistics in changing weather. A side zip makes putting the boot on and off easier during the working day, and the composite construction keeps it noticeably light despite its extensive protective features.
The upper is made from water-repellent full-grain leather with a waterproof, breathable membrane that keeps feet dry in wet conditions without causing overheating. Insulation is built in for both cold and hot environments, while the well-padded footbed and cushioned collar support comfort and reduce fatigue over long shifts.
On the protection side, the FD25 meets several requirements of the S7L standard. A composite toe cap and non-metallic midsole guard protect against impact and compression, while the puncture-resistant composite midsole stops sharp objects from penetrating from below. HRO indicates heat resistance of the outsole up to 300°C, FO stands for resistance to fuel and oil, SR covers slip resistance, and LG confirms certified ladder grip. The boot is also antistatic, includes cold insulation, and a rigid shank in the sole arch gives extra stability when digging or working on uneven ground. Being non-magnetic and free of nickel and iron, it also suits environments with specific material-compatibility requirements.
This makes the FD25 a solid choice for workers in civil engineering, utilities, road construction and general site work, wherever protection against impact, puncture, heat and moisture all matter at once.
