The KCL Tricotril 737 is a chemical protection glove designed for anyone who works with liquids and chemicals but doesn't want to sacrifice grip or a good feel for the task at hand. Its knitted construction combines chemical resistance with noticeably higher mechanical durability than velour-finished gloves typically offer, a pairing that's hard to find in a single glove.
The manufacturing process involves several dipping stages: first a nitrile layer, then a solvent-free adhesive bath, before the seamless cotton knit lining is applied. This method creates a fully sealed, 100% dense bond between the lining and coating, while also giving the surface a textured profile that improves grip during handling. The anatomical fit becomes especially noticeable during extended wear, as the glove moves naturally with the hand without restricting flexibility, and fine tactile sensitivity is preserved throughout.
For anyone sensitive to certain rubber additives, the Tricotril 737 offers an alternative free of vulcanisation accelerators such as thiurams and benzothiazoles, and it contains no natural rubber latex whatsoever. The glove is also approved for use in food production and processing, making it a practical choice for workplaces where both chemical exposure and hygiene requirements need to be addressed at the same time.
