The Chef's MeshAir Pro Surrey trousers are built for chefs and kitchen staff who need to stay cool and dry through a demanding service. The slim-fit cut sits close to the body without restricting movement, giving a noticeably sharper look than traditional chef trousers.
The cotton fabric delivers strength and pill resistance, so the trousers keep their shape wash after wash and resist shrinkage even under heavy daily wear. The Texpel finish makes liquids bead off the surface instead of soaking in, a real advantage at the stove or sink where splashes and spills are a constant risk. Because this finish is PFAS-free, it achieves that water-repellent effect without the chemicals usually associated with it.
Where kitchens get hottest, the MeshAir gusset at the crotch and the mesh panel behind the knee bring genuine airflow, while the fully elasticated, drawcord-adjustable waistband keeps the fit comfortable through long shifts. Pre-shaped knee and elbow-style panels add extra freedom of movement for bending and fast-paced work between the stove and the counter. Four pockets, including a rear pocket and a zipped side thigh pocket, still leave enough room for a thermometer, pen or phone.
