The Chef's Barnet Hose is the classic chef's trouser for anyone spending long hours in a hot kitchen environment. Cut in a unisex, regular fit, it works equally well for female and male chefs, and the Blue Check pattern gives it that familiar, understated chefwear look.
It's made from a 100% cotton fabric, which is exactly what you want when the heat is on: the material is absorbent, wicking away moisture so you get a fresh feel throughout the shift instead of that damp, heavy sensation. Cotton also brings excellent strength and pilling resistance, so the fabric stays smooth wash after wash rather than looking worn out. The trousers are simply machine washable at 60°C, keeping them easy to maintain under the strict hygiene standards of a professional kitchen.
The design is practical too: a part-elastic waistband gives freedom of movement while still holding everything securely in place, backed up by a hook fastening for extra security. Three pockets, including a set-in back pocket and two side pockets, leave plenty of room for a thermometer, pen or phone within easy reach.
