The CADI safety helmet by Climax is designed for work at height and suits anyone who needs dependable head protection on scaffolding, masts, or during rope and climbing work. Weighing just 320 g, it stays comfortable even during extended wear without compromising on protection.
The outer shell is made from ABS with high-quality UV stabilisation, keeping the helmet resistant to yellowing and material fatigue even with frequent outdoor use. Inside, a padded liner made from high-quality polystyrene provides shock absorption and comfort, while the adjustable headband with a ratchet mechanism allows quick, precise sizing – useful when the helmet is shared between users or worn over headwear. Ventilation holes add further comfort during physical exertion.
The CADI meets the requirements of EN 12492, the standard for mountaineering helmets developed specifically for situations involving fall risk and work at height, offering strong protection against falling objects and lateral impacts. The helmet has also been tested for use across a temperature range of -30°C to +50°C, making it suitable for changing weather conditions. A 4-point textile chin strap keeps the helmet securely in place even during movement or when tilting the head.
